The system automatically pre-sorts a wave of orders in an optimized sequence. Totes or cases are presented to the workstation operator and are automatically inducted into picking positions. The operator follows the pick lights to put the correct SKU and quantity into each waiting order. When an order is completed, the UltraBatch automatically removes the order and inducts a new order. The system doesn’t require the operator to touch, move, and manipulate totes and cases. This will often improve throughput up to 35% per operator/workstation.
UltraSert Document Printer and Inserter prints and inserts individualized manifests, bills, labels, instructions, and promotional materials directly into open orders in boxes or totes without requiring any direct operator labor. The system operates at speeds of up to 3,000 documents/orders per hour. Multiple integrated barcode scanners help ensure 100% accuracy by verifying that proper documentation is printed and inserted into the correct order.
